Case studies

What a Decision Diagnostic changes, in practice.

A coach, a consultancy, a manufacturer. For each: what prospects say, what really holds them back, what we change, and the content that comes out of it.

Examples

Each example follows the same path as the offer: what the Decision Diagnostic reveals, what we change, then an excerpt of what we deliver.

01

Example · independent coach

The coach everyone likes, but nobody calls.

Public-speaking coach. Posts three times a week on Instagram and LinkedIn, loyal audience, coaching sold so far through word of mouth.

The diagnostic questionWhy does a loyal audience not turn into enquiries?

What you hear

“I love your posts!”

What really holds them back

“I do not know what you sell, or whether it is for me.”

What the diagnostic looks for

  • The content mostly attracts peers, not buyers.
  • The offer is never named: readers have to guess how to work together.
  • There is no entry point between “I read” and “I buy coaching”.

What we change

  • Name the offer and make it visible in the profile and at the end of each post.
  • Write three pieces that answer buyers’ objections, not peers’.
  • Create a simple entry point: a 20-minute call on one precise problem.

What we measure

  • Direct messages and call requests per month
  • Saves and shares rather than likes
  • Profile visits that turn into conversations

The intended benefitThe same time spent posting, but content that leads to the offer.

02

Example · B2B consulting

The firm that sends quotes… and never hears back.

Cybersecurity consultancy for SMEs, twelve people. Prospects come through referrals, meetings go well, proposals go unanswered.

The diagnostic questionWhat happens between sending the proposal and the silence?

What you hear

“We will get back to you.”

What really holds them back

“I have to convince my partner, and I do not know how to explain the price difference.”

What the diagnostic looks for

  • The proposal describes tasks, not the risk it removes.
  • The real decision-maker was not in the meeting and receives nothing that speaks to them.
  • Against a cheaper competitor, the difference stays invisible: price becomes the only criterion.

What we change

  • Rewrite the proposal around the client’s problem and the cost of doing nothing.
  • Add a “why us rather than another option” page that can be shared internally.
  • Set up a day-3 follow-up that answers the most frequent objection.

What we measure

  • Proposal signing rate
  • Time between sending and decision
  • Share of proposals negotiated on price

The intended benefitFewer quotes lost in silence, and less price negotiation.

03

Example · industrial SME

The manufacturer with traffic, but almost no enquiries.

Maker of custom stainless-steel parts for the food industry. The website is complete and technical, visits exist, enquiries remain rare and often off-target.

The diagnostic questionWhy do qualified visitors leave without writing?

What you hear

“Could you send me a data sheet?”

What really holds them back

“I cannot see whether you have already solved a problem like mine, or how fast.”

What the diagnostic looks for

  • The site talks about machines and specs; the buyer is trying to reduce a risk.
  • The proof (standards, lead times, sectors served) is buried in PDFs.
  • The contact form asks for eleven fields before a question can be asked.

What we change

  • Create one page per customer problem, with the matching proof.
  • Bring lead times, standards and application examples to the top of key pages.
  • Replace the form with one simple question: “Describe your need”.

What we measure

  • Share of visits that become an enquiry
  • Share of qualified enquiries
  • Pages viewed before contact

The intended benefitFewer “just looking” enquiries, more real project requests.
